We have a FANTASTIC opportunity to both follow through on our Healthy Minds/Healthy Bodies Initiative and support TWO great causes!

On May 9th we'll be participating in the 80's Rad Retro Fun Run (REGISTER HERE). The 5 kilometer (3.1 miles) event will be held at Cagle's Family Farm in Hickory Flat. Our students will be running/walking to support our Student Ministry. The rest of us will participate in support of Give A Kid A Chance. 

Give A Kid A Chance is a Cherokee County program that helps make sure that every child has the supplies they need to start the school year. Your generous contributions will help fund fully supplied backpacks for individual students and help families all over Cherokee County get off to a good start next school year.

You don't have to be ready to run three miles...a lot of us will be walking it...you just have to be ready to have some fun on a Saturday morning. The race is coming up quickly so we need you to REGISTER today. Registration for the 5k costs $25. You can register online HERE, print and return the form attached to this email or pick up a form at the church.

THEN WE NEED YOU TO LET VALERIE KNOW YOU'VE REGISTERED, so we can get you all the information you'll need to run with Heritage. Email Valerie at vcohen@heritagebaptistfellowship.com.

If you register by Sunday, April 19th and agree to raise $100, we'll even get you a free Heritage shirt to help promote our Student Ministry!
