Come belong and make a difference.

Worship - sundays @ 11:00am

At HERITAGE FELLOWSHIP, we know that when you consider joining a church community, you first want to feel a sense of welcome and familiarity. Then you hope to experience spiritual growth and the camaraderie that comes from participating in activities and life events. In order to do that, you want a church with a traditional worship style that offers an open-minded and inclusive approach to faith and practice, working together to impact our community.

IT SHOULDN’T BE SO HARD TO FIND AN INCLUSIVE CHURCH COMMUNITY.

The problem today is that it’s hard to find a church where you can know and be known by others. It can be very easy to feel isolated and lonely, especially when challenges cause you to adjust to a new way of living. When faced with challenges, it’s normal to be confused and to struggle to find meaning in life. It can be especially difficult to move forward when you have felt judged by the church for some of the choices you’ve made in the past.

We understand that, as your family matures and you face life’s transitions, you may be searching for a community of people to join where you can feel like you belong and are valued. This is why, for over 25 years, we have opened our doors to everyone as an anchor in the community, affirming your faith where you are but giving you room to grow, intentionally working to create the type of environment that many people are searching to find.

Our program offers a full range of activities to nurture your spirit and assist in navigating LIFE.

You are invited to come visit us for one of our services. Worship begins each Sunday at 11 AM, or you can join us during other events listed on our church calendar. When you arrive for worship, you will be greeted by an usher (or the pastor himself!). We hope you will enjoy a meaningful church experience and join a new community of friends.

What to expect on a sunday morning

At HERITAGE we offer a traditional worship experience. We are led in worship by a choir accompanied primarily by piano and organ (occasionally joined by violin, cello, flute, or guitar), we sing hymns together out of a hymnal, and our pastor's message aims to connect God's word to our everyday lives.

Our goal each week is that you'll leave HERITAGE having felt something, learned something, and found encouragement to do something. We believe that the experience of God in worship has the power to transform us, so every week our prayer is that God will use our worship hour to change our lives.

you’re not alone.

No longer do you have to experience the isolation of a large megachurch setting or feel alone by not having a group of people you can walk alongside to experience life. Instead, feel welcomed as an integral part of church life where you can affirm your faith and continue to grow in a place that accepts you for who you are, wherever you’re at in life.

ACTIVE SENIOR COMMUNITY

At HERITAGE, there’s room for you to know and be known by others. We have an active, inclusive senior community. We understand that as your family matures and the configuration shifts, that you may be searching for a community of people to join where you can feel like like you belong and are valued. We intentionally work to create that type of welcoming community. And we offer a full range of activities to nurture your spirit and help you navigate the later years. Connect with others who might be navigating life’s transitions right there with you. There’s no judgment here.

in a nutshell

Many of us are looking for a church with traditional style worship that makes them feel welcomed and included. Heritage Fellowship provides programming with a balanced, open-minded and inclusive approach to faith and life events, helping you continue to grow in your faith, allowing you to play an integral part in the church, and working with you to face life’s challenges together as a community.

Holy. Healthy. Whole.

At HERITAGE, our goal is to help individuals, families and communities become holy, healthy and whole, so that as we become more like Christ, Cherokee County will look more like God's kingdom. Read more about our local mission projects here.

Our process is simple. We participate in the holy presence of God in our weekly worship services. We develop healthy relationships with each other and a growing relationship with God in our discipleship groups. And we work together to build whole communities by finding places to serve.

What About My Children?

We offer “children’s church” which begins during the sermon portion of worship. Our welcome team will introduce you to our teacher for the day.
